In 1903, a group of 12 doctors in Brescia established Fondazione Poliambulanza as a private and non-profit hospital.

Since then, Fondazione Poliambulanza has maintained a standard of excellence in different areas such as clinical, technological, and development areas that have been approved by Joint Commission International (JCI).
